AAGD Installation
Each year, the Association installs its volunteer leadership which consists of an appointed Board of Directors, Officers, and a new President.
In 2021 the association branded the annual event. I created a brand that is simple, timeless, and can be used yearly for this annual event. The mark uses the same shape that is used in the AAGD Brand Mark to create a single A. The overlapping strokes and colors implies the transition of leadership from one year to the next.
Along with the logo and branding I created the event micro-site, all even graphics, event marketing, and the 100 slide presentation deck. For the 2022 Installation our incoming President requested to incorporate a Casino theme and the color red; you will see below how we were able to pull these elements into the design without compromising the brand.

Something Special
In 2022 I wanted to create something that would honor the leadership but also be a great takeaway from the event. I landed on a deck of cards that would fit with the Casino theme. These cards were used at the Casino tables during the event’s cocktail hour - and were also placed at each place setting as a favor for the event attendees. I contracted a local artist to create portrait illustrations of our incoming and outgoing presidents. These portraits were used as the King and Queen face cards. I illustrated the Dallas skyline for the Jack face cards.
